I just received a new Dive Report for the radio station. Julie and her client are reporting 76-78.

The guy on our DR says he was wearing a 5mil suit.

Brrrrr. . first trip to Coz at end of March. I'm leaving my 3mm shortie at home

Feb 27- March 5 2016- Just back- Vis- 80' Water Temps 77'

Same, dates, same readings.

I wore a 5/4 full with a 3/5 hooded vest, if I did a 3rd dive in a day I added a 3 mm shorty.

In 23 rears there I've never seen an accurate reading below 77. I belive 79-80 is correct

Dave - this afternoon among our 6 divers and DM, we had at least 4 readings (different model computers) under 78 (2 at 75, 1 at 76 and 1 at 77) - I don't know the other three readings.

Well we were thankfully wearing a 3/2, and it was a shock every time we jumped in is all I'm saying! LOL

I've been wearing a 7mm shortie under my 5 mm full suit the past month or so and finally I am comfortably warm and can dive my tank without feeling like I'm going to freeze my can off.

There's an interesting article in this month's Undercurrent which says that as you age, you need more thermal protection. I must have aged a lot this winter....

Wow..lol... l use a 5 mil at 50'. Fortunately I dont do much of that. :)
