Well, Sue and I have decided our next trip will be to Curacao (thanks to all who posted suggestions in my other thread asking about destinations in this area).

We're planning to stay at Breezes, and will likely be diving with The Dive Bus (I'm waiting to hear back from them on a couple emailed questions).

Anybody know anything about the deep sub that's supposed to be running out of the Sea Aquarium? The web site is pretty bare bones, so I assume it's pretty new. Any info on price, and (more importantly) what it does and what you see?

Anything that we absolutely must do, or not do, while we're there? Not do is equally important. When we were in England, Sue asked for ice tea. I saw her about to do it, I tried to stop her, but I was too late... we did manage to escape the lynch mob...

Hey DD, Suzy is really good at prompt replies, but sometimes the internet there is not as reliable as here. They have friends at the seaquarium so she could get info on sub. Above water see the island via Eric's ATVs or the dune buggy tour. IMHO Breezes works well for us, just remember island time and be courtious to the staff for courtious treatment back. most everything is pretty easy going. As far as Dive Bus, that's a can't miss, great people and assured to have a brilliant time.

I wrote her the email from work, right before I posted here, so it would be unreasonable for me to exepect her to be up at 2AM...
Island time is fine. When I'm not in the ER, I live on island time.

You guys will have an awesome time then. Yeah, Suzy is on island time too, I know she wouldn't be surfing the net much before 9am coffee:D

Replied first thing this morning. Definately diving with them. It's fate, when Sue and Mark are looking for a dive op and find one run my Mark and Suzy...

Hurry up is necessary in the ER, but not the rest of the time. The rest of the time we prefer to spend taking our Jeep into the back country. And now that we're addicted to diving, planning our future trips.

And you might want to know that they originate from the British isles. But they are great folks. Enjoy !

K.

I noticed that. We're US born, but I lived in England for 4 years. And we got married on the battlements at Amberley Castle.
Looking at their site, I note that Mark is of Korean ancestry and has long hair. My MA training is primarily Tae Kwon Do (a Korean art...) and until I chopped it off and sent it to Locks of Love, my hair was even longer than his.

Too synergistic... We have no choice but to go to Curacao and dive with them. Otherwise, Poseidon is likely to get mad...

:) Tom.... can you guys just pop over for a quick 2 weeks in November also? Go on, go on.....

I'm working on that Suze, all I have to do is quit my job, sell my house, and find a job in CUR. ( maybe driving a bus?):cool2:
Then again, if that whole lottery thing works out....
