im pretty comfortable doing any one fo those, have some new gear that ive only used once but not a deal, ive been using whatever for the past six months anyways, never the same gear.....never went diving anywhere except hawaii and a quarry in south africa so a springs dive or river would be awesome keep me posted

what are you planning on diving on the river. I was there 2 weeks ago. Found that 3 sisters is a great snorkel, but using scuba there is overkill. Kings spring is a nice quick dive. There is a nice little plaque, and a short swim through cavern. Other than real shallow in spots and manatees, you shouldn't have much problems on the river.
I thought there was more to it than that...hummmmm, I'm leaning towards doing a little something more than that...

planning on doing some crabbing there on Monday...so diving it Friday might be a good idea.
I've been looking at the wreck thread thinking about going on charter to dive a wreck.

If you mean more dive sites in Crystal river - there are, but I was told that there great snorkeling spots, not diving spots. If you mean more to Kings Spring, I don't know, I could have missed something ? :)

Well not only did we choose not to do C.R. but we didn't even dive. Weather is so wonderful it makes it worth being on an extended surface interval.

I did dive Blue Springs in Orange City yesterday...That report will be forth coming...
