Hey, Sorry Im a little late to add to this old thread, but I just got back from Cozumel myself.
I cant match jepuskars trip report so Ill keep mine brief:
This was our third trip to Coz. We had a great time. It was sunny every day, 90+ F air and 82 F water. In 13 days, I dove 41 times for 36 hours of bottom time. Saw sharks, turtles, schools of anchovies, mass sponge spawning, and more fish and coral than I can name. (Did not see any one finned divers.)
I met some great folks, European, Canadian, Mexican, and US (just to name a few).
We got back to New Jersey, and were told the sun had only been out one day in the month of May, and the temp was in the 50s. Water temp is still in the 40s on the bottom.
I want to go back.
