One of the guys that has been on the boat diving with me since I arrived and is a Chicago native, but now lives in Phoenix, has been raving to me about another Italian place that he swears I have to try. It is called La Cucina Italiana and is operated by a local woman out of her home. She makes a limited number of dishes per day (soups, entrees, salad, bread) and when it is gone, it is gone. So, sounds like a place you want to get too early, rather than late (maybe late lunch after diving or early dinner time).

We spent 8 nights there last month. Dirt cheap (about $40/nt) and everything worked. Carlos the manager/owner? is responsive on whatsapp any time of day. We needed fast internet because we were working remote and when it was a bit slow the first day he installed a router in our room and we got 80mbps.
Wow. I either have never seen one of those, or I have seen one and didn't know it wasn't something else. I'll be on the lookout for them when I am there next month.
ReefHound... We looked at Quinta Suites for our next trip on their website but what turned me off was all of the suites other than the family suite reported having only a double sized bed... Those that report sleeping 3 includes a little sofa bed fit for 1 additional person. The family suite featured 2 double size beds. No queen or a king size beds anywhere in the place that I could see. Can you confirm? I haven't slept 2 in a double size bed in 30+ years and had no interest in reliving that part of my past. The thing I couldn't understand is looking at the size of the BR's it appeared there was plenty of room to at least use queen sized beds. I guess a double bed is cheaper, smaller linens are cheaper to buy and cheaper to launder. If it weren't for those tiny beds we probably would have booked there. We still could but won't if it's all those little doll house beds.
8 big sharptail eels all out and scrumming among one another like they were fighting one another or fighting for something.
So close to a octopus! They are usually very sensitive to anything moving nearer and take off in no time at all.
