Cozumel July 10-17

I emailed Christy to ask some questions about us diving with her for a week or so in August. 3 days later she returned my email saying that she was really busy and would get back with me in the next few days to answer questions and give pricing. I haven't heard anything yet and it's been 8 days since my first email and 5 days since hers to me. I hear she's great but wouldn't know! Maybe I'll make the U.S. to Cozumel call by phone.

Well it looks like there will be several of us scubaboarders in Coz at the same time.

#1Cozfan looks like our vacations plans are nearly identical as we will also be using Dive with Martin. Have you used Dive with Martin before? I really enjoyed my dive time with them earlier this year. You'll be in Coz for my bday so maybe we can get together to celebrate.

Wristshot we should try to meet up that thursday or friday.

Texas Diver How about Friday evening?

scubatexastony maybe we can meet up that Saturday evening. My dive buddy may want to a night shore dive that evening so it might be a little bit latter in the evening. Let me know if you would like to meet up that evening.

Any suggestions on what to do on my bday? I might decide to do a night dive, or the mini golf maybe both if time allows.

DiverG, yes, we used Martin last November and they were great. We were able to dive San Juan, Barracuda and Maracaibo. Most days we had only 6 divers on the boat and the boats leave earlier so you are at the reefs before the others get there. They picked us up at the dock at 7:30 or not long after. Only 5 weeks and a few days to go.

It looks like I'll be switching to Dive with Martin this August too. I've heard a bit about him here on Scubaboard. Any other comments on his operation, good or bad?

I'll be at Plaza Los Glorias from July 31st to Aug 4th. Have a group of 16 that are going. We are diving with Caballito del Caribe.

divematt, sometimes her email system gets a glich in it. I sent an email and she responded but I didn't get it. She sent me another email asking if I had received it cause she didn't get a response from me.

You can also PM her on this board to let her know you have been trying to contact her. She has been very good about getting back in touch with me.

We are going to be in Coz next week diving with her.

I have also used DWM a few times no complaints try to request DM Orlando we also had Jaime (sp) one afternoon. We had Reuben on 2 days no comment.

I used his stateside booking agent listed on his website.

I'll ask for divemaster Orlando or Jaime. I couldn't pass up being picked up at Plaza Las Glorias at 7:30am, being raced to the southern sites at no extra charge on one of their 4 fast small boats that hold 6 to 8 people, getting free unlimited shore dives, getting a free video of one of the dives, getting a free night boat dive, all for $50.00 for two tanks of morning diving! DWM seems like great value.
