The high point of today's dive was a wild dolphin encounter. On the way to the second dive, we came upon a pod of 30 to 40 dolphins.
I am curious where this was? To which site were you headed? Which reef was the closest to this encounter?

Si, Tree is doing just fine. The foliage is filling back in nicely, and it stands tall and proud amidst a much defoliated landscape.

I'm not sure exactly where we were, but it was between diving San Francisco wall and Las Palmas. It was nearer Las Palmas than San Francisco. It was a very unusual occurrence, as I've not seen it happen before in some 13 or 14 years diving here.
