Your return test is on the day before you fly; that would be Day 6 of a one-week (7-day) trip.
You get it at one of the four testing sites on Bonaire, or possibly at your resort if they arrange it for you.

Your mandatory Bonaire test is on Day 5, one day too early for a one-week trip.
Your return test only needs to be an antigen test. Your Day 5 test cannot be an antigen test.

I can fly Delta Saturday to Friday in March, so I can make the Day 5 test work for both so long as I get the results to give to Delta. If the day 5 folks aren't returning the negative results, that's a problem.

You might be able to get the testing lab to give you a travel document/result from your Day 5 test. You could email BonBida,com, fo example, and tell them you want to use the Day 5 test to travel home the next day, can you get a written negative report?

On the other hand, why would you want to leave Bonaire a day early just to save taking an antigen test?

Then where do you get your return test? Can't you have that place report your results to the Bonaire people?

It saves money, FF miles, and after having six tests done, I can say I am hate the #@@$#%^ things.

It is not a deep "brain-stem test." Can't use that for an excuse.
You need to talk with the testing companies; Bon Gove and the Airlines are irrelevant. If the testing company won't give you a negative-test written good-for-travel certification, you lose. Buy another antigen test. I actually asked BonBida why I could not get a negative Day 5 test result even though I had paid for the test; they responded, "the nurse told you that you will only get to hear from us if you are positive. Because it is just a check and not for travel, we will only contact you if it is not good." not an acceptable ansser, but I was just trolling a bit.

Tha Day 5 test is called PCR, but that apparently just means NAAT to them.
The antigen test to enter the US is an antigen test, which is not NAAT.

Hubby and I decided to cancel our Curacao vacation in Feb. It looks like Bonaire is following many of the same testing guidelines. Too many hoops to jump through. Really bummed out since we have been craving some shore dives from either Bonaire or Curacao. We will be visiting Cozumel instead. Keeping fingers crossed that there will be no nortes.

Can’t blame you for making that decision - we did 3-4 Coz trips since Jan 2020 because of the hoops but did Bon in Dec 2021 and while it was easier for us to do then than would be to do now it was still alot of hassle/stress.

Looking at all non-Coz 2022 options and the list is slim. Glad we made it to Bon when we did and definitely have sympathy for those with trips currently booked.

What's really interesting is that you don't acknowledge your response about the five day test and the return test were interchangable.
