Dr. Bill - is this documentary still available and are you on camera? Would love to see it again. I remember there was a sequence where the kids were at CIMI paddling about in the water.

Fortunately for the viewers I was the script consultant and, as far as I know, totally off-screen. I did do a little camera work... my first time using video to document natural history. Not sure about its availability today. It was an episode in the TBS series "Cousteau's Rediscovery of the World."
 
I remember the black suits with the yellow stripe. If I remember correctly, the yellow stripe extended to the fin. Yes, that was cool-especially when the crew wore the yellow lighted helmets. I think I still have the books that were companion to the National Geo series....Now, I'll have to dust them off.

I'll have to look around as I know there were some docs. filmed by J.M. Cousteau. I was thinking of the Nat. Geo. version.
