Hey all,

Need some assistance. I've got two Faber HP100's (3180psi + 10%) that I want to convert to doubles. I've yet to find a sure fire way to determine the thead type for the manifold I'll need to put them together....

I emailed Diver's Supply - and of course their response was that the Sea Elite 3/4" manifold was perfect for the job - yet alot of the posts I've come across indicate 7/8" theads were used on HP (3500psi) cylinders....

What exactly is this thread measurement of? length? diameter?

How can I determine exactly what I need without taking the tank apart....?

Thanks in advance....

I have 1 set of HP100 fabers, 2 sets of HP80 Fabers, and 3 single HP100 Fabers. They are all the 3/4 neck.

7/8 necks were PST's HP tanks. Now they've gone to 3/4.

If your interested I have 2 new Thermo isolator manifolds. PM me. It's what I have on all my HP duals. But you'd only save around $10. I like them and when I VIS my LP's I'll use them. They are 300 BAR DIN. But I like the weight of the HP's. So I haven't used them except for singles.

I hope you're in a drysuit. With the HP duals and a AL backplate I need no weight belt. Each Faber HP is around 14lbs negative. I'm 6'2 190lbs and in pretty good shape. They will turtle ya fast to...LOL And you'll sink like a stone....

Oh yea, I used Highland Mills bands. And they are worth the extra money. I hate the OMS bands I have on my AL80's. I've gotten an extra set of those. I haven't used. Probably going on Ebay.
