Hello SB peeps -

Life and work has significantly reduced how much diving I've been doing and I don't need multiple sets of doubles any more. I'm selling this set of LP85 doubles.

Needs vis (was O2 cleaned)
In hydro through 4/26 (+ hydro the last time they were tested)
Faber bands
DGX long neck manifold

This set was one of my trimix sets - always filled and serviced only at Anywater or Aquarius. No boat fills. I had the valves and manifold serviced every year too.

Local sale only. I'm based in the East Bay but can meet at any of the dive shops in the South Bay or Monterey.

Best,
elgoog

Hey I know your ad is for local sale only, but I have been deadset on getting myself a decent set of LP85s for a long time now. I can pay for shipping to South Florida if we can reach an agreement.

@SwordPhish2025 I can look into how much shipping would be but it's likely to increase total cost for you quite a bit. It's going to be a few days at least till I can get back to you with the additional cost of shipping (likely next weekend). Send me a PM and we can continue chatting there.
Just to be completely transparent - if I get local interest, that will be my preference.

I just checked estimates on UPS and USPS. With the exact tank dimensions, it comes out to ~$130-140 per tank. I have not checked how much it would be for the manifold and bands but I'm guessing $30-40?
Try pirate ship - I just shipped a pair of HP100s from FL to CA and it was ~$50 per tank

Thanks @TMurrr ! I hadn't heard of that site and it looks really good overall

@DShaw Looks like ~$50 per tank and likely less for the manifold and bands. If you're interested in that much shipping, I can go to the local store and see what type of packaging is available to ship this in. I'm going to hazard a guess and say you're looking at $150-175 total on top of the $700 for the doubles.
Send me a DM is you want me to find those details out.

No prob! I use them all the time and (no joke) have saved thousands over the years.

Heard about it on Scubaboard from another member too

Also highly recommend checking both shipping individual tanks as well as shipping both in a larger package - sometimes it works out cheaper to package together and pay the over weight fee, sometimes it works out best to ship individually and stay under the weight limit (50 lbs I think?)

If you pirate ship, can you just slap label on cylinder, (or have to box)?
