Taking a Nekton Belize trip and would like to get to Roatan or Utilla for a second week. Anyone ever made this connection in either direction.

He is an excellent yachtsman, has a lovely 36ft sailin catamaran and is a great person to sit and chat with on the way over!
He also offers day trips to Cayos Cochinos, or wherever else you want to go. A day trip to Utila or Cayos is about $80 pp and requires a minimum of 4 people. I recommend booking him for an early start, say 6.30-7am departure since the ocean at that time of day shouldn't be missed. I went to Cayos with him yesterday and enjoyed the first two hours of the day the most as it was calm cool and generally tranquil.

Atlantic Airlines also fly Monday, Wednesday and Friday to La Ceiba from Velize City and then you connect to either island.
