This came across my Facebook page today. Scroll down a bit and there is a video of the drop in. I don't know how to link just the video.

Looks like a nice boat with lots of room!

I always liked diving from a panga.

It's not a new (to her) boat but one that's had a full refurbishing. It's been out of service for some time though. This is from 2007.

Ill be there in June! Cant wait!

Aww thank you Jay!

As Cicopo said, she was completely refurbished, in fact completely gutted, redesigned and rebuilt. Shamu now has a very solid new floor with superior reinforcement including double beams and ribs every meter. The rebuild also included new benches with built in tank holders for the first tank which allow the divers to sit into their gear - extra tanks will be in back so the aisle is always free of "stuff". She also has a new canopy, all brand new electrical, a stereo, Wi-FI equipped and of course a new engine :)

We made a team decision and opted for the single Yamaha 200hp due to known problems with the 95's. Twin 115's would be too much weight on the boat - and this particular model Yamaha I bought is the best engine Yamaha makes. Shamu FLIES now - with 6 divers and 2 crew we were traveling 40knots at half throttle!

Jay, Shamu was actually my first boat 15 years ago but for a variety of reasons, she has been out of the water since late 2012. I have spent the last few years working little by little to get her back in the water. Phoenix rising indeed!! I am a very proud and extremely grateful Mama! I've been having what I call gratitude attacks all week!

Here are a few photos of her - we're still finishing up some details and installing a few more treats - but she's ready for diving and made her maiden voyage on Saturday!!
