I know a guy who put his own picture under the clear environmental seal on an apeks regulator. That I find very cool.

I don't have anything special on my rig but I have a few ideas.

one of them is writing "if you can read this you swim too close to me" or "this fin is gonna hit you" very small on the underside of my fin.

My Local Apeks rep (before AquaLung bought them out) told everyone that that was what the environmental seal was there for, to have a picture of your SO to take diving with you.

Here's something new for me, although it's more for holding my rig. I picked up a new ride and threw away my old wooden RB stand. Howdy Bailey made this one out of SS and 1/4" alum. It extends for getting dressed and working on the RB, and even has a drip pan.

I use split fins, Tusa zooms to be exact. Are they optimal? Probably not but they were the only fins that fit my feet comfortably. If I can find a Jet style fin with a foot pocket that fits my foot wearing rock boots I will buy them, but until then I will be sporting black and yellow splits.

try the big jets or turtles? oms slipstream makes another good one...

I have, the problem is I need a taller foot pocket. In a turtle or jet large enough to fit my foot into, the pocket is way to wide and my foot actually flops around in it. I hear the Hollis fins have a taller foot pocket but I don't have any dealers around to try them on at.

I dive double Al80s with a singles wing. i replaced the standard 7.25" bolts on the bands to the 8" bolts and have installed wood spacers that let the wing fully inflate to its maximum capacity without sandwiching between backplate and tanks. gives me a more streamline profile and no taco on my back. logistically its only good for warm water and at most may be two Al40 stages. one is no problem.
