My sins of diving are really bad.
1 I solo dive and love it, its like porn to me. This is changing since my gf is taking ow.
2. I have dreams about diving
3. I think about diving at work
4. I draw profiles at work or writing notes for class
5. I buy stuff off ebay and online, my reasoning is look at the price.
6. I fantasize about the guts of regulators and taking them apart. Its just so hot, that metal, vitron o-rings, o2 grease, and diaphragms...
7. I make maps of dive locations including depths from data at work and school. I want to make a pdf file of the dive sites and have layers that include: depths, currents, tide, images of wrecks and layout, walls, and interesting features (kelp beds, grass, octo dens)
8. I have aborted dives because I couldn't hold my pee in the drysuit and ran full gear to the bushes. I ended up peeing in front of a church meeting.

I frequently dive to when I am practically out of air, and found out once or twice that the tank was OOO while the gauge was not at 0psi.
If I come out with less than 300psi, I would come up and disconnect my gear right away in case the DM comes around to check everybody's ending PSI.
I sometimes would pee at the very end of the dive and wash my wetsuit in the common rinse tub.

That is a very bad sin, my i suggest a method to prevent this? Plan, use the padi thirds or gas management, ie rock bottom and calculate your time. If something goes wrong your in a world of poop.

It ain't that bad. It's not I am doing it in a cave. I am always getting shallower toward the end of the dive and I would always be at my safety stop at no less than 200-300 psi. The only times I worried about being low on air is if I have pushed too hard chasing after large creatures in current and realized I have just burned over 500psi of air and have to find a way not have to be like those air hogs whom disappear from the group halfway thru the dive, then another large pelagic creature passes by and off I go again.......still gotta stretch this dive to 60 minutes...slow down breathing....swim 5ft above the others....suck down the tank....

Our father, who art in water
Scuba be thy name
Your dive sites we come
The dive will be done
In suits dry as they are in wet
Give us this dive
Our daily OTU limit
And forgive our non DIR rigs
As we forgive dangling kit
Lead us not past our NDL
But deliver us to our safety stop

Scuba Sins.......hmmmm.......

My buddy (when I'm fun diving) is usually 20 feet above me.

My buddy stopped doing that after I casually mentioned one day that some of those bubbles he was swimming through didn't come from my lungs ...

I'm not confessing anything to anyone... that's why I dive solo, so no one will see!

I will confess only one sin- off Cozumel, in 1999, I pinched a spotted moray's tail with my left hand while holding a camera in my right hand to get a "reaction shot." I got a bite on my ring finger, and a good but not great photo. The small scar is a reminder to this day. I have not harassed any wildlife since then. Ever. Almost ever.
