Spanish rocks is a nice dive site, an easy swim, and with northeast winds, you should have decent viz. The sugar barge is a "have to" dive just to say you dove it, but sadly, most of the wreck has been covered over by sand, there isn't much to see anymore. I haven't dove 3rd pier yet, so I really can't add anything about that site. Both the sugar barge and spainsh rocks are good dives for beginners, short swim out to the site, simple nav to the site, shallow depths(18-22 ft), decent viz most of the time(6-15ft).

Well we went out to 3 piers today. Viz was around 6'. Not that great of a dive unless we just didn't hit the right spot. Checked at spanish rocks after that and viz wasn't any different. But we did get wet so thats all that matters to me.
Regards,
Doug
