My wife and I will be headed to Cozumel in a a couple of weeks. My wife is a non diver and has been looking around for things to do together after my dives. She has been looing at a site called Cozumel Vacation Concierge; Your Local and Personal Planner.. Anyone familiar with them. They seem pretty reputable. She is looking for things like horseback riding, spa services.

I don't know if it has changed in the past few years, but I remember people saying the horses on Cozumel looked like they were malnourished. Spa service... ? I guess there are a few of those on the island, but most people just go outside in the warm sunny salt air for free. Just sayin'. Cozumel isn't a place people usually go for either.

where are you staying?

What are they charging for their services? Most of this can be arranged by talking to someone local like your hotel or dive operator. It's not difficult. And I agree: skip the horses. If you or your wife loves horses, you'll be sadly disappointed with the ones here IMHO. I volunteer at a horse sanctuary here and have seen some very sad cases.

I am not a horse expert but the ones at Mr Sanchos looked ok a few years ago. Or try the camels.

Don't know about the concierge service you mentionned or horse-back riding.
Regarding spas, I had a very good facial at Aqua Spa near Villablanca hotel, it was professional and the setting was very clean, but nothing to rave about. If you like massages, several people I know LOVE Sallye's (Massage: Barefoot in Cozumel).

You can very easily rent a car (Rentadora Isis on calle 2 between Avenida 5 and 10 is often recommanded here for their comprehensive prices including all insurances and customer service) and tour the island on your own, places to visit include beach clubs with the usual watersport activities, ruins of San Gervasio, the wild and beautiful landscapes of the East coast, the natural parks (Punta Sur which boasts a laguna with crocodiles and a gorgeous beach, Chankanaab and its dolphins…), etc. There's also a golf course, miniature golf, etc. Getting lost in the back streets of San Miguel and sampling food at a local restaurant is also a lot of fun, as well as listening to live music in bars or just enjoying the life happening all around you.

Hi just got back from the Island. I have visited many times over the years. I know the Island very well and comfortably explore from Punta Moles to Punta Sur and all points between. I will be happy to return to coz and be your wife's personal concierge while you are diving. I can take her bird watching at the sanctuary, play in the waves on the east side, take her to art galleries, the museum, snorkling, yoga and pilaties, cooking classes, volunteering, watch the men play soccer, out for wood fired pizza, heck I'll even take her shoe shopping if it gets me back to the Island. All this for the low price of 1 round trip airfare from mpls. I will even pay for a car for the trip and drive you both to dinner at the best restaurants in town. I can provide references. Past guests have enjoyed their time Dave-ing even more than the Diving. Have a great trip. David.

:confined: Get out of the jar!

Less than $100/day including car? No bad. Check his references. :D
