Is there any difference? An outlet has a compressed neoprene (Typhoon) on a closeout at 1/3 price and while I don't want a standard neo suit a crushed neo suit seems to have a lot of advantages. Latex neck, neo wrists, boots.

DC53: The only true crushed neoprene suits are, to my knowledge, made by DUI and ABYSS, They actually take neoprene and crush it free of all the "bubble" structure.

Compressed neoprene is used by several manufacturers, including Apollo:

Tyhoon compressed neoprene suits at a good price would seem a good choice.

crushed neoprene seems to be less compressable than compressed neoprene:

+ less buoyancy-loss on dept (and the other way around)
+ durable

- heavier (for some an advantage, for some a negative point)
- a thermal suit is needed below it
- expensive
