I am selling these for a close family friend. Her husband(who has passed) bought everything, started the classes and found out that due to an old work injury wearing fins was too painful. He never finished the class so the gear never made it out of the pool. I dont know about diving so I dont know what it is worth, I have been told about 1k but will consider any offers.
I posted pictures in my profile gallery that give more detail

There are 2 tanks stamped DOT-E9791-3500 TP5250. The tanks are out of date but I plan on having them tested and brought current before I sell, and know they were pressurized until I drained them myself. I have been told that any buyers may want their local shop to do any other servicing for the equipment, so I am not planning on doing that unless asked to. If you do plan on having it serviced by your local shop i will take that into consideration for any offers. I think the dive shop said to service everything and do tanks it would cost me about 250.

I am in San Diego area and would prefer to not have to ship everything.

I will do my best to answer any questions anyone has, just keep in mind I know nothing about diving so I might respond with a Hu..Wha How do i do that...

Boots are size 9 made by deep sea
fins say Medium
wetsuit says on tag XL 100%nylon laminated on neoprine rubber exclusive of rubber it is seaquest
hood is XL 90%neoprene made by deep sea
gloves are M 90%neoprine made by deep sea
I think the tanks were tested last in 98, I will add pic to gallery
the thing that attaches to the BCD is a scubapro Air 2

Just figured out tanks have visual inspection sticker jan 98 so everything has been stored since than. I know that has been a while but it still looks good and I have no problem having serviced/tested for any serious offer (serious meaning willing to buy, any amount will be considered)

Just a suggestion- try to post individual pictures, and add the sizes for the wetsuit, fins, etc. Any idea how long he had the equipment, and how long it has been stored?

I will find out the year he bought it all, It was boxed up shortly after he purchased it. Would it be better to add photos inline here or the gallery where i have most at moment?

Thanks for the help

It looks like the tanks were certified in 98?, there is a sticker on them that has that date i will add pic of that when i do the rest. added sizes above. If that is the correct date than it has been stored since than, I am waiting to hear back from the owner at the moment. I can add up the weight totals if it helps too. I will also try to find out the thickness of the items

I'm sorry...just a question. $250 for a hydro and visual inspection of your scuba tanks..?? That seems quite overpriced....

I would be interested in the tanks if they are steel HP 100s. Anyway you can post picture of the tanks and the stamps on the neck of the tank?

I used phone camera, sorry if they are a little blurry

the price quoted was for the tanks and also to do a complete seal and service replacement on the BCD, regulator and vaulves

That's what you get when you deal with a dive shop. You pay out the ass.
