I havin't had time to read all posts, but, how hard would it be to have a device that works in water that you could press a button to alert a seperated dive buddy from a short distance if you are in trouble. i.e. beeper, clicking sound..........................other than what is already offered.

The problem is locating it. It is very diffucult to locate sounds underwater, due to the speed in which sound travels through water.
