So what happened to the new compressor block from Coltri that was supposed to upgrade the MCH-6 (aka Icon)? Migrating to a 3-stage system with almost 5cfm would be fantastic, but the planned design was released almost 3 years ago with no updates since. Has anyone spoken with Coltri representatives and received some sort of update? Is this redesign dead in the water or still moving forward? Thanks in advance to anyone who has info on this topic

What kind of performance ?
More flowrate? Flowrate increase of 40% 6m3/hour => 8.4 m3/hour ?
Less noise ?
Less weight ?
Less filter ?

Seems vaporware ...

I emailed Coltri about it who said to contact the UK dealer, then talking to the UK dealer at the Dive Show they had never heard of it. It would be a great little unit if it ever appeared, and hopefully be much cheaper than the MCH8 type units which must be expensive to produce and are way more expensive than the Icon

Dave you know perfectly well that you need fanboy approval first before making any post in any way critical of Coltri.

Further the approval needs to be countersigned by the said UK importers shop janitor and by the chairman of the British Sub Aqua Club BS-AC. Failure to comply will result in you getting banned.
Criticism will not be tolerated.

You have already caused Coltri to drop the Coltri name and the MCH-6 title requiring all these new and confusing model titles such that even the UK dealer hasn't a clue what he is talking about. Maybe invite him onto the forum. However I understand that may be difficult under the circumstance's.
