Hey everyone,
I'm considering the purchase of this computer used. Ive done some searches but found little info on them and was wondering if anyone had opinions good or bad. It will be my first computer as I'm presently using analog gauges and will eventually be taking nitrox classes.
My other choices were the Mares M1 and Uwatec Aladin Pro Ultra Nitrox.

I have a Nemesis IIa and have used it for 5 years. Only problem with it is that I have been told Cochran will no longer service it so if it goes, it is gone.

One thing I didnt like about it is that if the connection from the sending unit to the wrist unit blips, you are without a computer. The new model wrist unit will still display and record time and depth.

I will probably just trade it in and get a new model.

If you get one. Make sure and read the manual. And understand it. It's easy to screw up. I have 4 of them and like it very much. But if you screw up the programming it can easily tell you that you have 99 hours of deco....

It also eats batteries.... I change mine every time I dive. It's just cheap insurance... Or I should say. If I go diving for the weekend I change my batteries... Not every day. But around every week...

If you're new it might be more than you need.
