Cobalt Case Release Date?

Will the not yet available Cobalt case be released by then?

Can I pre-order?

Whenever the release date, will you announce it here on the Forum? AA's website is often behind when it comes to new products.

Pelican 1120 with foam: $26 with shipping at Amazon, just the right size to hold (and actually protect) a Cobalt, and doubles as a wallet/keys/phone/analyzer drybox while you're diving the Cobalt.

Downing...I am so sorry about the delay in this product. Unfortunately, we have not been given the final Ok on them and I don't know when we will have them for delivery to our dealers.

AA: dang it but thanks for the info.

Dr L and Oldbear: Thanks for the advice re: Pelican cases. I have several and am a big fan. But they would be overkill for my Cobalts, as I'm always careful to keep them out of harm's way. Right now I'm using a couple of oversize generic soft computer covers I got from Leisure Pro for $8 a pop. They do the job, but I'd prefer a soft case tailored for the Cobalt.
