Just wondering if anyone freedives with closed-foot fins in 55F water? Do you wear a neoprene sock? If so, how thick and how much does it increase your foot size by?

Most of my diving is around Northern Cal and I've got my eyes set on a nice pair of Gara 2000s... any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
