Greetings scuga and I like the way you think. It will be interesting who all jumps on this one. Seriously though, start to build your dive experience, work on your skills "buoyancy", research diving, build more diving experience, take Nitrox, and research more diving. Then you will need to think about the diving you really want to do and why, "Dive Goals". How are you going to achieve these?
About this time you will need to prepare to purchase more gear and train with it so you will be ready for Adv. Nitrox / Deco. Procedures. Seek out a instructor for the class and complete it. Once you are at this point you should have built your experience and training to a level that would allow you to register for a CCR trial at Dive Rite Tech tour. This is just hypothetical of course but I am going to do just that this summer when they are in my area! I made sure that I would qualify to give their CCR a test drive.
This does not mean I am ready for a CCR in no way! That takes serious commitment and very serious $$$$$, lot's and lot's of $$$$! But hey it is all about goals and working toward making them reality. One day I will be diving a CCR because I am building my way to get there one step at a time. Take your time and enjoy the ride. Study, research, and strive to become the best diver you can be. Determine your goals and make a plan to get there!
CamG Keep diving....keep training....keep learning!
