Well its been almost a month since i dove (that was cayman) and im getting withdrawls so its time to get back in the water. Plus i need to try out my new rig.

im planning on getting out there about 10 am and probably going to do atleast 4 dives maybe a fifth. I do have some goals thou, i do want to do the around the world CSSP tour since when that was posted a couple of months ago.

location probably going to be up on the north end, were the beast bench was put.

So post here if you know that your going out to dive

If you are currently a inductee here is a chance to become a member and have a fun day absorbing some gas

I plan on going Friday, too. That is if today's outing to local Joe Pool turns out as miserable as I expect. I've got to pass by the park twice today so I figure, what the heck I might as well check it out. I'd be kicking myself if I found out years from now that it's a decent diving lake.

Scubatooth,

I have some new gear to get wet, and I need a dive with a swamper - I could meet you out there at 10. I believe sealskin was going out as well.

What is the around the world?

Let me know how that goes. I've been curious for quite awhile about how the diving is at Joe Pool. My LDS (Surface Interval Scuba) is thinking about doing a clean-up there on the 20th.

My plans have changed (originally booked this weekend and next, but no more) so I could probably meet you folks.

What vehicles should I be looking for (how do I know which group to walk up and harrass)??

Also, anyway I could talk you guys into the south end where the trees are? Very nice area, away from the crowds, in the trees (very shady) and the entry point is 10 yards from the picnic table.

In case you're not picturing it, it's just beyond where Robert is working on the airplane fuselage.

mike

i will be driving a tan/beige camry with a trailer hitch and a proud of my eagle scout bumper stiker on it( i need to remove it )

as for location right now i dont know, i know what your saying about classes in that area (north) but lets see whatt everyone else has to say

I'll be in a gold Nissan Maxima with an american flag sticker on the rear windshield. Since I'm not a "legal" swamper yet, I'll let you guys decide where to meet. Looks like the weather should be pretty good that day.

Thanks,

Jim

The area I'm speaking of is not often used by classes. From what I have observed most instructors set up shops at the two north docks, or the steps right in front of the fill station.

I like it because it means I don't have to haul my pavillion, it's reasonably close to Cisco and the boat, and an easy hump to the silo.

And I usually like getting to CSSP by 8:30-ish, so I can be there early enough to snag some tables for us.

I was going to get there early as well - what will you be driving?

the parking lot by the floating dock or you would have mentioned it. East side or West side? That would be great with me, haven't dove from the South side this summer and the only entries I've done have been from the two north docks and the floating dock.

With my lazy Saturday morning habits and extended drive I could be there around 11 or noonish.
