Good.

I apologize to anyone, except SwimJim, that I may have offended for my insensitive and cruel behavior during the course of this thread and the ensuing posts contained within.

Thank You

That's what trolls are good for! :D Well, and fish bait.

I have another idea! :D Let's reroute the river so that the running water flushes the crap out of the quarry!

:coffee:

You know - if we dug enough, we could get salt water flowing through - and then we'd have all those wonderful ocean creatures right at our back door.

Once everything is out, you could ask for 100000 5lb lift bags, fill them with air, and fill the quarry with them. Then you would have the world largest ball pit to jump around on!

You should figure out what it is that you want to filter.
Is it silt or is it micro organisms that will reproduce on their own?
Silt would be easier to clean up. To rid the water of algae and other organisms you may have to use chemicals.
To try to use mechanical filters on living things would be very difficult because they reproduce quickly.
Check with someone that treats ponds for various effects.
Let us know what works!
