Suggestion Clean and Sober Thread Closed For...??????

I'm really having a hard time with the over-moderation of posts and threads on this board. If you want to live in a sanitized society, find one where the leader acts like a dictator making secret rulings allowing secret invasions of privacy by governmental entities without benefit of constiutional protections or warrants and...and...and...oh...errrr...ah....well, ok, you know what I mean! I'd like to know why my thread was closed? I don't see anything in there that violates TOS...anyone?

Well I can give you my opinion, but it's a personal guess - not something I know for a fact.

Your original thread was in suggestions as that's what it was. TechAdmin read your suggestion and thanked you for it which means that it's now up to him to think about it and accept or reject it. At that point the thread had achieved it's purpose and as the suggestions forum is not meant to be a place for discussions, just suggestions, the thread was deemed to be finished and therefore closed.
It doesn't have anything to do with moderation or the TOS, and no-one did anything wrong.
It just has to do with maintaining the suggestions forum for it's intended purpose - no big deal.

That's my take.

Since you capitalized them, though, and therefore applying their common usage in political discourse, you would be entirely correct...

I think I hit sex, drugs, homosexuality and liberalism, but i forgot rock-n-roll, so add the cross product of Divers who Like/Hate Metal/Rap/Disco/House.

Oh and I said "cross-product": Math Divers, Physics Divers, Economics Divers, Unix Divers, BSD Divers, Linux Divers and assorted geekery...
