It was nice meeting you too.

I'm still brushing sand and fish poo out of my hair.

And I had a fun time diving with all of you. I actually think I discovered my magic freshwater weighting formula of about 2 lbs less than what I had. I had a few brushes with the bottom myself. But I am getting a little better at the horizontal descents/ascents.

Wendy and I did one set of S-drills. I was having too much fun swimming with her, and forgot the "stop-squeeze" :D.

No fish poo here. Man I love my hood (when I can get it on straight).

We're still looking into the myth of the "meteor-diver". Apparently Matt saw some "big guy" loose control of his buoyancy and hit the bottom straight from the surface with a resounding thud. He said the impact looked like a meteor had struck Aleander Springs :D.

I think the two of them stirred up more poo then all of the classes in that spring combined! He wanted to know where the cool sights were and I told him to cruise the "weed line"... I think he thought I meant to swim in the weeds and disturb anything and everything found in that spring. Of course after I told him that I saw him strap 20+ pounds on... and he wasn't even wearing a wet suit!!! His daughter kept telling him "it has to be a right hand release dad..." as they were gearing up. The two of them plowed right through my class as we were doing mask clears on the rim of the bowl. He has a mean right kick! You know, I thought the spring was a tad bit deeper... :tease:

NetDoc once bubbled...
...and I told him to cruise the "weed line"... I think he thought I meant to swim in the weeds and disturb anything and everything found in that spring.
Mystery revealed!

I think it was that same guy that was keeping me back on the beach. He was asking me questions like "where's the best place to enter the water"....and I was thinking, ummmmm....the shore?

That would also explain the mysterious dark cloud on our second dive. Matt and I were both resting in the far back corner, just kind of hovering, and it was like a dark, ominous cloud came over us, full of fish poo and green weeds. We had to get back into the basin where there was just sand gettin' stirred up. They must have snuck around behind us after kicking through your class :D.
