I hear that if you bring an unopened pack of saltines down in the florida keys and open it underwater during your dive the fish go nuts. probably can't be too good for the fish, though, and probably frowned upon.
 
a friend’s wife brought a whole tin of saltines for a cruise in the BVI and after she discovered her husband was allergic to them we tried to feed them to the fish, the fish ignored them, they did however love the rotten cheese ball. I would maybe feed the local Caribbean fish a lion fish, but I would not want to kill something to feed fish for my amusement. even the muscles have a job to do.
