Chuck Taylor Slims

I was researching Chuck Taylors to use with my Fusion and noticed that Converse is offering a "Slim" version which has a thinner sole for $5 more. This could be an advantage for fitting into fin pockets. Anyone have an experience with these?

My booties wouldn't fit into anything narrower. In fact I removed the insole to make more room for my undergarments.

I think the foot pocket is the same size, just the sole got thinner. Should make for an easier fit into some fins. I need to go try on a pair locally if I can find them.
