The hike is the reason why I won't even consider this dive - it just sounds too taxing. The sites available this time of year for shore diving is pretty much why I only get out once a month during winter.

I wouldn't mind more dives, but the boat dives get expensive, the shore dives require more exertion than I'd like - oh, and did I mention the water temperature? I know, I'm such a whiner.

I freeze all the time. I wore a 5/3/4 xcel all year long. Guess I will be in a 7mil this coming year. I don't think I could ever do cold water diving. Lanai Lookout isn't as much of a hike as Blowhole. I agree with the boat dives being expensive. We haven't been on a boat dive in a while (I did go once in October). Guess I need to call Capt. Joe and get a seat on his boat.

You dove blowhole?? Wow, I am impressed. That would be a scary spot for me...
Yea, a doc PM'd me and tod me who to ask about my coral cuts. I will live. It just makes me afraid to get a manicure because I might catch something from those acrylic nail people. You know, fungus, soaking in those basins....anyway. Ya'll are lucky I am not posting photos of my fingers!

yeah...blow hole is a nice dive, but getting down is a KILLER! did it once...it was enough for me for a while. Hats off to ya Melissa
