Christmas cards

I wish every scuba dork in Hawaii would post a Christmas picture.....Last year my friends Stefan and Johanna did the coolest card I have ever seen. Underwater, with Santa hats and like a film strip. AND I am so proud that I now know how to post thumbnails, if you e-mail them to me, I will post them. OR you could post it yourself. I expect Wildcard and Kathy to send something from Alaska, por favor. That would be incredible to see snow... Come on, it would be fun. If I don't get compliance, I may go around and take mandatory scuba Christmas shots.---if you wanna look good, better give one up! Leeza, I expect nothing but the best.

Could we get together soon? I just got the heartbreaking news Jim has to go to Iraq to train Iraquis in the Sunni Triangle, near Fallujah in Urban warfare or something sounding dangerous. Living on Iraqui camps, etc. He is getting fitted with body armor and protective goggles. It is kinda hard to take.... Anyway since he leaves after Christmas we would like to go diving soon. Call me.

Oh, and he has 17 months in combat already so I was kinda hoping maybe somebody else could go. Welcome to the Marines.

call me whenever you need to. we can go do something whenever you want. My sister leaves to the middle east Dec 26th. At least she gets to spend Christmas with her hubby. Let me know when you want to go diving. Brittney has an eye appt. tomorrow at 3pm so morning time or any day thereafter is fine.

I bought a sign to take diving for cards last week and now I forgot it at the care home...grrrr....I'll try to get the sign and take some pictures tomorrow.

I don't have one showing us UW, but I do have a collage I made a while back and the other one is our Chritmas card that we had printed this year.

Those cards are great! Roger cartoon really captures him, wouldn't you say? Did you draw that? Kudos!

I am typing up a little dive report from yesterday. I thought I saw you on the boat at Turtles or ....San Pedro. Our card attempt flunked because I forgot to attach my hotfoot to the strobe. Oh well, I will post the stupid little joyful moments and crummy pics anyhow. Maybe we will get another shot at it. I really wanted to get the Corsair with a wreath on the grill/prop, in Black and white.

Nope, Roger had the day off yesterday, we spent it at home. BUT I am going this afternoon..just 2 people on the boat right now...hope it stays that way.

I "made" the cards at vistaprint.com. You can choose the skin color, face parts, hair etc. it was fun getting them to look a little like us.

BTW, I feel for ya...this is my 4th Christmas w/o the kids...kinda empty
