Hi all,
going to Bonaire end of next week (yay me!) and staying at the Flamingo. My dive light's charger specifically says 60Hz (i.e. NOT 50-60Hz) and I see on the Flamingo web site Bonaire is 50Hz. Does anyone know if the dive op there has a special setup for charging lights and other items that require 60Hz?
thanks
Steve

(for what it's worth I have a UK C4 with the rechargeable kit)

Probably not since the whole island is on 50 Hz. If your light will truely not work on 50 Hz consider leaving it at home. I am very suspect about this as it converts the AC to DC for charging, it might run hot but should work.

I'd call them. Toucan at the Plaza has a tranformer to convert to 120/60 for strobe chargers - they might also.
