Changing Tank Valves

Hi All:
Have a quick question...If you have a tank with an old J valve on it can you change it out to a k valve?

I have one that the valve is shot.

Sure. I have j valve on my tanks as well and have new vavles on order coming in. Now, having said that....is your vis and inspection up to date??? It would be a waste of time to put new valves on a condemned tank.

Thanks RichinNC - Yes the tank is good just need to change the valve.

If I were to put a used K valve on it - then the next thing to do would be have the lds put the proper burst disk in it?
