I will be flying to CZM via SWA in a couple of weeks; maybe they will quit requiring masks by then but if they don't it's really not a big deal for me. I went to CZM masked last year about this time, and after I have had a mask on for a while I stop noticing that it's there.

I'm more hopeful on the change in testing requirements to come back as it has always been near worthless and just more of a hassle.

I can drink the entire way to Mexico, so I'm sure id hardly notice that a mask is there either.
I heard that at least some airlines will let you do that (order alcohol on board) now.

Wearing a mask never has bothered me, especially since I got nylon frames to hold their shape, and I wish more wore them correctly. I like them required on planes. And I like test requirements before flying. I wish they were required both ways.

And I'm glad you are not King.

Southwest reminded us to replace our masks between sips. I don't know how many people did. I made a half-hearted effort.

On my last trip, I found out that my first beer was free.

I had a set that holds it off my ears, which was much better but still wasn't perfect with an n95 and the nose. Masks for long durations have always bothered me and I would change mine out on longer flights like to Hawaii.

I was thinking dr Seuss with that...... I would not like them on a boat, not on a plane, not on a train, not in a car or in a house.......

You still wear them everywhere, whereas we haven't for a long while and it is more abnormal to see someone with one than without. I would like it if sick people would wear them though, as that kind of makes sense! Though if you want to wear them enjoy, I just wish not to partake anymore.

As far as the tests, so many slip by anyhow that I bet you have had many on your planes with Covid.

They can but i didn't see anyone enforcing that.
I flew United last time and I also saw a few people with suckers for the entire flight.

"Enforcement" or lack thereof is not a factor in how I behave. What the FAs ask me to do, I do.

Yep, I would like to see everyone with a cold, flu, Covid, etc. wearing masks correctly. The only way that would be possible is we all worked as a team towards a positive goal by all wearing masks indoors and inside those aluminum tubes. Sadly, the US was never inspired to work as a team. Today still, you can find the hotspots by checking the last voting results.

I did my tests before leaving the US all three times as I felt it was responsible of me. The fact that others don't bother makes me wish they'd mask up. It;s sad that so many are irresponsible.

I had a lady next to me the last flight I was on that didn't wear her mask 90% of the time. The flight crew said and did nothing. Same with the lollipop gang...

Yes, that makes sense, if you are sick, wear one and/or stay home.

But soon as it isnt required and as long as I'm not sick, I won't be wearing one anymore.

That's great and if it helps you to feel more comfortable keep it up.
Personally, I see no sense in wasting my time or money if I am not sick.

Everyone is currently forced to mask up if they travel on planes, so I'm not sure what you mean.

Besides even with your single exit test, you could get sick literally anywhere on your journey. So you might as well test daily if you go out and about...
