My son has grown into the Mobby's Pro drysuit that I got him and out of its boots. Can they be changed out reasonably? The suit is in excellent condition. He would prefer to keep it because it is like his uncle's, but I am not sure that it would not be easier to sell this one and find another.

Yes, depending on the boots/socks that you choose, it's not only possible, people do it all the time. Cost should be under $200 unless you get something really out of the ordinary.
