While we're all on the subject, I recently swapped my Oceanic Islander 2's inflator for a dive rite regular elbow, 12" hose, and angled power inflator. I use this BC when doing things for the shop, and it works awesome with the new inflator system. I've never had a pull dump fail, but I just don't use them ever so why have something I don't use?
