Thank you, thank you, thank you.

$95,375 is the final tally from last night (which will change a little bit in the coming weeks as late donations straggle in and we do a detailed audit of our numbers) and it’s simply amazing.

We are continually heartened by the efforts and support we get from the diving community. We like to think of Chamber Day and Chamber Eve as the one day our SoCal dive industry sets aside any problems or differences to all come together for the greater good of the same community. And year after year, you all come through.

We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we enjoy (truly) putting it on. And we hope that you’re now sorting through your photographs from yesterday in preparation for submitting them to us as we now begin to assemble the book f the event, Through the Lens: A Chronicle of Chamber Day 2007. We’ll have the details available in a little while. (And remember you can still buy the book on-line through the website - $65 through Sunday night, $75 after that.)

Thank you once again and hopefully you’ll keep your calendar clear for the first Wednesday of May 2008, when we have the milestone Chamber Day #20 and Chamber Evening #10.

Chamber Day:
snip...

We’re still working on the overall t-shirt design for the Flying Dutchman and we’re trying to figure out what to put on the front of the shirt, since it seems like the back is the best place for the Flying Dutchman logo. Karl came up with a great idea.

But . . .

We need a LOT more names than we have right now to make this work.

From your first post it appeared that the design was not finalized.
