I was told there was pretty fierce flow under the road, and it's not a nice dive. You're right about no features but it's kinda pretty in spots, and I'm told there are corcs (or perhaps it was alligators) in the surrounding mangroves although I never saw any.

I heard about the crocs too.. in several areas around there.. never saw any either. The few times I've been under the road to the stop sign at casa cenote I've never noticed any current, but no doubt the way the water bubbles up on the ocean side if you were to venture further into the funnel you'd find some current. Without the scuba gear I've always got an advantage fighting the currents, other than the lack of air (a minor inconvenience :wink: ) AND speaking of the ocean side, we saw lot's of huge jacks right there in the shallows where the cenote's bubblin'.
