I agree with dirt farmer on this one + it is dirt cheap on local planes.

1. Turbo pro plane is a lot smaller than even A318 so there is limited on allowance. 20kg is all you are allowed.
2. One of the reason some divers take the ferry if the schedule permitted.

What centrals said. For the other flights I had already paid the nominal amount for more baggage allowance. I did call them, they did say that depending on other luggage on the flight they will let you pay the additional 200pesos per kilo but it was a risk. My camera had been playing up as well, I have 5 destinations on this trip with long transfers so lugging it all around and then find it didn't work would've been too frustrating.
