Just so people know what is going on behind the scenes while all these delays are occurring....

The Cayman Aggressor has had to cancel all trips for more than a year, but it is not giving refunds. It is only giving vouchers. People have to rebook for sometime in the future. We were booked originally for last May, and they wanted us to rebook for this May--right now, in fact. So people are taking wild guesses on when they will be allowed on the island and booking trips, and since with that many cancellations and no refunds, the number of vouchers is enormous, all the trips for fall and winter are booked. Aggressor requires customers to cancel/rebook far in advance of the date or lose their money. Aggressor can cancel at any time it pleases with no penalty. So Aggressor is not canceling until the last second, IMO hoping the customer will cancel first and lose their money.

While I am sure the practice is not dishonest, it does seem to be a little low class as far as customer service goes.

How's this, then?

In our original booking, our group got the most expensive cabins, and we, of course, paid extra for it. Those cabins were not available when we rebooked.

No refund for that.

Good news is the USA announced today no masks indoors for people that are vaccinated. Overall, a telling sign the US is getting COVID under control and that is one of the factors GC will look at in terms of letting people back in their country.

Summer 2022 looks good as hopefully being able to come with no quarantine at all. Time will tell.

Ok that just pushed things into the POS pile

Does anyone have an update on entry into the Caymans?
From this thread and elsewhere no one knows and the gov has not made any announcements. The best guess seems to be fall.

Thank you for your info... Can not hit the LIKE button but will keep looking for a place to dive ...

Strange you can book flights from the states to GC in July.
Sure, but you have to quarantine after you arrive.

Divers are not big on that idea.
