Regardless, the post arrival testing was silly (imho). You either close off fully or let folks in - but testing at 2, 5 and 7 days after arrival is pretty meaningless as you would have been circulating and possibly spreading for 2-7 days by the time you test.
And don’t get me started on the completely idiotic negative PCR test to exit quarantine if you do test positive:

Many other locations learned early on that closing off was untenable to their economy and struck a better balance with risk vs Cayman.
It’s their country so they can do as they see fit, but I’ve canceled trips I had scheduled and gone and will be going to other places like Aruba that have navigated through this with a more reasonable approach.
