This sums it up nicely too.

The sun was setting when we departed Georgetown dock for a full 10 days of fun in the sun! CA IV welcomes back Shane & A-1 Scuba Dive Shop. A bunch of excited guests were ready for a trip of diving eating and sleeping Cayman style and there was no better way to start the week than with a short cruise up Seven Mile Beach, a lovely BBQ dinner and an awesome sunset!
Water temp 82F, Air Temp 80s, Vis 80-100ft+, Water temp 82F, Wet suit 3mm or skin
Thursday: The wreck of the Doc Poulson was up first a perfect site to start our week. The wreck is in 50ft of water. Our resident spotted drum was in attendance, as well as a turtle and lots of garden eels. Next up the ex-USS Kittiwake. A wonderful wreck with lots of history. Blue and midnight parrots were seen as well as a spotted eagle ray. We then dove the wreckage of the Oro Verde for our first night dive. Crabs, lobster and moray eels were seen.
Friday: Our first dive of the day was Big Tunnels at northwest point. Known for its swim thrus, cracks and crevices. This was our deepest dive of the day. Black corral, hanging sponges set the background for this great site. A free swimming green moray was seen and a grey reef shark. Next up was the world famous Stingray City. The graceful and majestic rays greeted our guests for a wonderful dive encounter. Nice job Margery on the best “hickey”.
Saturday: After a late night crossing we made it over to Bloody Bay on Little Cayman. Randy’s Gazebo was up first. Clear 100ft+ vis, two chimneys, the archway, shear wall and more turtles than at Sea World was a great way to start our morning The Meadows was our dive site of the day and what a wonderful day of diving we had. You name it we saw it and photographed it too! We encountered turtles, Sharks, eagle rays, schooling jacks, barracuda, friendly groupers, green and spotted eel’s. The night dive produced all the usual’s including, crabs, sleeping turtles, lobsters , octopus and a goliath grouper! What a great day!
Sunday: Leah Leah’s Lookout was our AM site. Here we get to enjoy the crevice that runs from the 20ft shallows out to the wall at 100ft! Today we had incredible visibility and a little current and were treated to turtles, puffer fish, schooling snapper and a swim thru, the “great room”. Donna’s Delight was our afternoon sight, and what a delight it was. Squid, sharks and a special shark that visited Shane….scary. Great day of diving.
Monday: After a beautiful evening cruise over to Cayman Brac we dove the wreck of the Russian Destroyer. Everyone enjoyed exploring the ins and outs of this wreck. The vis was excellent and plenty of pics were taken around the bridge and stern gun Of course the guys enjoyed going inside the wreck and exploring the engine rooms. Bus Stop was the afternoon site. Believed to be one of the best dive sites in the Caribbean! Golden Coney’s, Sleeping stingrays, lobsters, rainbow squid, Nassau groupers, plenty more reef sharks and a beautiful eagle ray all were spotted. But not forgetting the sail fin blennies or yellow headed jaw fish. The night dive was great! Lobster, 2 reef sharks, crabs and a beautiful octopus.
Tuesday: Once again we had several guests get up at 5.30AM for the pre breakfast dive on Nancy’s Cup of Tea and what a great time we had! The reef was waking up as were the divers and it was a great way to start the day and breakfast tasted sooo much better. Nancy’s always pleases with all the schooling fish and all the old anchors. Sarah’s Set was next for 1 dive. Nurse sharks, stingrays and a spotted eagle ray were the highlights of the dive. Our afternoon site was the Great Wall. A sheer drop off into the deep blue. Freddie was there and was entertaining all the divers. Sailfin blennies and a green eel were spotted. Later in the PM, squid, nurse sharks and a great dusk dive.
Wednesday: For the morning dives we returned to the Meadows. Our resident reef sharks were in attendance. Spotted eagle rays, turtles and sleeping sting rays were also seen. The afternoon dive site was 3 Fathom Wall. This is where Jackson’s wall & Bloody Bay Wall meet. Adena found a lettuce leaf slug. Yellow headed jaw fish with eggs, pistol shrimp and a nurse shark. Wow! We then went back to Bus Stop for more great diving. Last stop on Little Cayman was Marilyn’s Cut. A juvenile reef shark, turtles and Rob logged his 100th dive.
Friday: A smooth crossing back to Grand Cayman put us back on the West Bay and just 2 dives left to enjoy ! Round Rock Trinity Caves & Devil’s Grotto. Here we find plenty of places to explore with plenty of bottom time and plenty of critters. Devils Grotto was our last dive of the week and is always a favorite. Swim thru’s, caves, cracks and crevices were there for the exploring. What a great way to end a awesome week of diving, awesome weather, awesome guests. Congrats go out to Carter, Rob & Adena for 250,100,100 dives! Thanks to Shane & A-1 Dive Shop. All that’s left to do is wash our gear and get ready for a cold drink or two at the farewell party. Congrats go out to all for making this another wonderful week of Aggressor diving in the Cayman Islands
Until next time……
