ok... as madeline and smokeaire know, my light conked out on the first dive.

sent it off to Dive Rite on Monday, got it back today.

the bulb was loose due to the wrong size o-ring. they replaced the o-ring and tested
it, and i tested it when i got here this afternoon, and it works great.

must say the Dive Rite customer support was very good, and they worked fast
(got it on Tuesday, shipped it out on Wednesday).

Sorry bud. I forgot about the light. Did you go to GS?
And yes DiveRite can be very good about getting their stuff repaired. A top notch company for cust. service.

yup... the guy said it wasn't the battery and it wasn't the
switch. his prime suspect was the test tube fitting or the
light bulb (it seemed to him it had been mounted wrong)

turns out he was right. but they wouldn't touch it at Ginnie.
Dive Rite is pretty strict about that.
