Just noticed that the latest post from the ship was for the March 2-9 trip. Of course there was no mention of any fire. BUT Wayne Brown was on board. Perhaps he got to experience the problems with this boat first hand. I sure hope so.

Wayne will have a really hard time denying this ship has problems now. I hope he at least got to experience the lousy itinerary and barren reefs that they go to so he could truly see how bad the Carib Dancer is.

I wonder if it was this same engine that died the very first night of our trip in December?

The boat is now docked at Cracker Boy marina in the Palm Beaches. IMHO, it should be considered as Palm Beach's newest wreck dive.

This boat never should have launched as a dive charter. Our experienced and non-picky group had nothing but negative to report last June. Bad plumbing. Toilets not working. Staff quitting the day of our charter. Picking up a local Bahamian lousy cook who didn't know how to swim but was seasick and barfing in the galley all week. Food was miserable. We weren't permitted to take over the galley. We were hungry all week. Same dive sites over and over. We gave honest feedback to Aggressor/Dancer. To compensate us, They gave us a free nitrox voucher for our next trip. Funny that there wasn't even working nitrox on our charter.....nor for several week after that. This boat and charter was a disaster. Aggressor/Dancer management and owners failed to take responsibility for the horrific trip. Funny....I was one of their dealers and the others were part of a local dive shop. We are done with them. Now their dead boat Carib Dancer is sitting at Cracker and they are still advertising the trip. Disgusting. You have many choices for your vacation. I'd avoid Aggressor and Dancer. They are not honest. As a travel professional, I have never been treated so badly by a company. Aggressor/Dancer needs some serious customer service tutoring from the likes of more reputable travel providers. They may have been the go to company in the 80s and 90s, but countless companies out there are far surpassing them in quality and customer service. It appears that Wayne and Wayne have serious ego issues that get in the way of their business sense.

Sigh ... I am still haunted by my final Nekton experience, and being out $9,000.00, and was NEVER even contacted by Nekton that our May trip was not happening. It was a sad ending to that company. I have been on 3 Aggressor trips (All Cayman Island trips) and my experiences were mostly good, but I do consider this thread to be a head's up. Thanks for sharing, all.
