I have a soft top and it's always a balance of.. If someone wants to break in they can just take a knife to it and.. trying to not make it too easy, heh.

I should probably get an alarm or something, but that costs money! :O

I usually leave my keys with whoever I'm buddying with. I was considering keeping the car key in a pocket, but how long does it take before it'll start rusting?

Be sure it's your valet key and put it in your pocket. My wetsuit has a key pocket stitched in on the inside.

My key is a Mercedes non-key.. But it has a laser cut metal part in case the battery goes dead on the ignition part and I can unlock the door with it. I just separate it and tie it in my pocket. If you wash it off with fresh water after diving, it won't rust.

I have a non-key that will open the door and the glove box. I leave the keys locked in the glove box.

I tie a small bolt snap to a spare key. Then the key gets clipped to a bungee cord in the zippered flap of my pocket.
