Nice story Bill.
If you take a hike out onto Napatree Point, you will see coal here and there rumored to be from the wrecks off Watch Hill Reefs.
And now its told there were ships specifically carrying coal that wrecked off Watch Hill. How interesting.
Definitly worthy of breaking out the firefox unplug applet for.
Glad it went well and hope you have many safe dives there as I feel you'll be back.

Hehe, you know, every time I see a video by you with anything to do with Palmer I wonder what the punchline is going to be..... I was expecting it to be a model of the U-Boat sunk in someone's pool or something.

Yes it was taken down as it could easily be downloaded with the Firefox unplug applet in flv format. There are a few reasons you dont to to advertise the video; but Bills a great guy and we wont discuss it outside of secret circles. There are technicals in there that someone could cause issues with if they wanted to be a meanie.

Earl and I were guessing it was really just the Metis and Bill was messing with us again by calling it a "secret wreck". Depth is about right for the Metis, conditions look about right and Bill has been diving the Metis a lot these days...... hmmmm....
Kind of like how Scubasarus calls the Goat Path at Wetherill his "secret spot"

Hey how did you find out about the goatpath? Im still fuming about Spectrum diving my secret spot at Acadia weeks before I could discover it.
