Joe,

I went last weekend and the temp was 75F at the surface and about down to 45 ft, where we hit the thermocline on Saturday (70F), and Sunday the thermocline seemed to have dropped to about 48 ft (still ~70F). The viz on Saturday was about 6ft and on Sunday seemed to have opened up to 10ft.

All of that info is from our dives at North Park - never been to Holiday Lodge. In fact, I got all of my preliminary info from Jay (thanks again!).

I talked to the toob shop and the dive shop part has been closed for years. So yeah New Braunsfels or San Marcus are the closest place for air and equipment if you forget something.

I enjoy canyon lake a whole lot more then the comal. I live 15 minutes from Medina and rather take the extra drive to canyon.
