Once deleted PM's disappear, along with any personal information in them. You may want to try searching the forum which you would have "met" the user in.
We believe that PRIVATE messages should stay that way. We don't retain them and the software we use blocks any access to them by staff.
It could be useful (for the future) to export your messages to your pc regularly.
